Our Testing Equipments

Quality assurance is an integral part of Pragathi Controls. We endeavor to meet the international standards and we ensure that all our products are manufactured under stringent quality measures. Our manufacturing regime is designed in such a way that it leaves zero possibility for any defects. Our Quality Control team carefully observes production at every stage of our operation.

INSPECTION AND TESTING

To establish and maintain a system for inspection & testing activities in order to verify that the requirements for the products are met.

SCOPE:

• This quality system procedure applies to all products received and produced by the Company. It includes inspection and testing at the receiving stage, in the process and final Inspection.

RESPONSIBILITIES STORES :

• Verifying that received products match delivery challan / purchase order.
• Authorizing receipt of conforming products into (indirect items) stores where inspection and tests are not required.

QUALITY CONTROL :

• AVerification, Inspection and Testing to ensure products conform to specified requirements of incoming, in-process and final Inspection.
• Authorizing receipt of conforming products into store. Preparation of Inspection & test plans.
• Ensuring all required Inspection & Tests have been completed and product is acceptable before dispatch.
• Ensuring all required Inspection and test records have completed and retained.
• Authorization of release of final product.

PROCEDURE FOR INCOMING INSPECTION AND TESTING :

• Incoming goods are held in receipt area prior to inspection and testing.
• Quality and description of received goods are verified against ordered material.
• Discrepancies in quantity are noted for the knowledge of the Purchasing Department.
• Records of Inspection and tests are retained as defined in and are retained in accordance with quality procedures.
• Received products not conforming to product specification are handled as per control of Non- conforming products Procedures.
• Received products which meet specified requirements are accepted and transferred to store.
• We do not make any conditional release.
• Non conforming products are identified are dealt with as required in Control of Non- conforming Products procedure.
• Rejected Products are sent back to supplier and a relevant noting is made on the Replacement Challan.
• Copy of challan is sent to purchase department for the purpose of Vendor Performance Monitoring.

PROCEDURE FOR IN-PROCESS INSPECTION AND TESTING :

• Work -in-progress undergoes inspection and held at each stage of production until all required tests are completed.
• Upon unsatisfactory inspection and test results, all related products, are placed under rejection (Red sticker/tag/paint) and dealt with as required in quality system procedure.

PROCEDURE FOR FINAL INSPECTION & TESTS :

• All finished products are inspected and tested in accordance with Quality Procedures & results are recorded in details given below.
• Finished products which meet specified requirements are authorized/marked as per Quality and transferred to store/dispatch area.
• Upon unsatisfactory inspection and test results, the products is placed under rejection.
• Customer is informed regarding the readiness of products after final inspection as per checklist at our end for dispatch clearance.
